Must I give it even ONE star? Ugh! Nope, not for me! I have tried a few dating sites and date.ca (or americansingles.com!) is definitely *not* one of the better ones. See they make it so you can't read your mail unless you pay, even if the other person is a paid subscriber, so even the people who have paid to join get ripped because we could send out messages and teases but not get a response because the person we're interested in isn't a paid member.

Besides that they edit your profile in there for fun! I would go on and my profile would be all mangled. Needless to say one month into the game I cancelled my subscription!!

Oh, on the funny side this one man sent me a *huge* email detailing his life in Cali... I wrote back to him telling him his email read like an ad for a home-based business and he wrote back saying,"Thank you for your feedback, ma'am." Hee hee... that was the best part of the whole experience! =)
