I've been to three HurryDate events in the Brentwood area of LA; two of them were 25-35 age range, one was men 35-45/women 30-40 (I'm 39). I had a really good time at all of them, but the problem (so to speak) came afterwards, when it came time to re-connect.

After each event I had one mutual match, whom I promptly contacted. One of them wrote back to tell me she had met so many people that I needed to remind her -- once I did I never heard from her; the others just never responded.

If you go with no other expectation than to have a good time, you won't be disappointed. I've found my skills in interviewing from my days as a sports journalist help me draw a bead on the woman across the table from me.
